Acceptable Use Policy

What you can and cannot do with AGEWARDEN. AGEWARDEN estimates age; it does not identify people. Don't use AGEWARDEN to identify users, build biometric databases, conduct surveillance, manipulate metered usage, resell without authorization, deploy where prohibited, interfere with the service, or process data without required notice or consent. Customers must provide required notices and obtain required consents, releases, authorizations, and parental approvals before deployment.
This Policy is part of the Customer Agreement and is incorporated into it by reference. You accept it when you accept the Customer Agreement, which is the Terms of Service presented at Stripe Checkout. There is no separate Acceptable Use checkbox.
AGEWARDEN is provided solely for voice-based age estimation. Customers may use it to verify whether End Users meet an age threshold required by law, regulation, or the Customer's own policies.
Customers may not use AGEWARDEN to:
Exploit age results for non-gating purposes. Use AGEWARDEN results only for age-gating and legally required records. Do not use them for ads, profiling, demographic inference, segmentation, surveillance, or unrelated purposes.
Build biometric databases. Customers may not capture, store, extract, intercept, or bypass voice data, acoustic features, credentials, meters, or systems outside the documented AGEWARDEN flow.
Conduct surveillance. Customers may not use AGEWARDEN to monitor or surveil End Users beyond the age estimation result, or correlate results with other data sources to build behavioral or demographic profiles.
Manipulate metered usage. Customers may not create multiple accounts, use automated systems to generate fraudulent Verifications, send production traffic through test credentials, or otherwise manipulate metered usage.
Resell without authorization. Customers may use AGEWARDEN in their own websites or applications for their own End Users. Resale, sublicensing, or redistribution requires prior written consent.
Deploy where prohibited. Do not use AGEWARDEN where law prohibits voice-based age estimation, or where required notices, consents, or authorizations are missing.
Interfere with the service. Customers may not perform vulnerability testing without written authorization, overload infrastructure, access other customers' data, or exploit vulnerabilities.
Process data without required consent. Customers must provide required notices and obtain required consents, releases, authorizations, and parental approvals before AGEWARDEN captures voice data.
We may suspend or terminate access for AUP violations, with or without notice where needed. Remediation is at our discretion.
Non-payment is handled under the Customer Agreement, not this AUP.
Report any violation of this AUP, including by another customer, to aw-abuse@constance.ai.
Changes to this AUP are governed by Section 16 of the Customer Agreement.
